I have been wanting a cuckoo clock for a while now. I have done a little research and decided that a Black Forest clock is the type I want. The first cuckoo was made in the Black Forest in Germany between 1740 and 1750. Black Forest clocks are most authentic to the original and have the highest quality craftsmanship. I love the intricate details, it's moving parts, and of course the cuckoo sound.
